ABOUT ME After a 5-year stint studying and working in LA, I returned to Portland, formed a voice/guitar duo called Nouveau 2 and recorded "Sojourn," a compilation of guitar/vocal duets. Eventually, I dropped the name Nouveau 2 and expanded the instrumentation of the group, often including flute or saxophone.My next recording, "You Were Meant For Me" is a collection of favorite tunes performed in various settings, from duo to sextet. In addition to recording and performing, I created "Jazz Notes," a special feature for local jazz station KMHD. I researched, recorded and produced a series of audio portraits of some of the greatest jazz artists.Over the years, my concerts have included a promotional tour of California, the Portland Mayor’s Ball, the Mt. Hood Festival of Jazz, North by Northwest, and performances at many of the Northwest’'s best jazz venues. I am grateful for sharing the stage with many generous and talented musicians, and continue to appreciate the ongoing support of musical collaborators, faithful friends, family and fans. It's pretty simple: I like to sing. People like to listen. Together, we make music happen. How good is that?
